The Department of Physics is a well established department. It is playing its role in spreading the light of knowledge and producing excellent graduates for the society.

In 2010, feeling the need of modern way of education, department started BS  Program. It was a step towards the modern education. The students are being taught about the latest researches and knowledge in the field of Physics.

The department has shifted to newly constructed “Saeed Awan Block”, where it has all the facilities required for teaching and learning process. It has a Seminar Hall equipped with Multimedia, three well equipped Labs, “the General Lab”, the Electronics Lab”, and the Optics and Spectroscopy Lab”.

The faculty consists of well qualified and devoted members. Their devotion and hard work is evident from the student academic result and response.

OBJECTIVES:

The goal of Physics department is to produce useful persons in the society  who are able to function in outstanding manner whether as teacher in educational institutions, researchers in research organizations or technical experts in government or private sector.
